Hello, my name is Caroline Giudice. Welcome to my blog.
I write stories that linger. A blend of science fiction, fantasy, horror, and psychological thriller, often laced with elements of the paranormal and social satire. My stories explore the eerie, the unsettling—the thin spaces where reality bends. They challenge perceptions, unravel truths, and often end with an ironic twist or a moral lesson.
Where do these ideas come from? Some stories whisper to me in the quiet hours before dawn; others find me in the midst of everyday life, disguising themselves as fleeting thoughts—until I recognise them for what they are. Fragments of myself woven into fiction.
I’ve always been drawn to stories that transform the ordinary into something extraordinary. Writers like Stephen King, Rod Serling, Charlie Brooker, and Guillermo del Toro have mastered the art of unsettling fiction—tales that take root in the familiar before twisting into the unexpected. I suppose that’s what I try to do, too.
How would I describe myself? I’ve always lived between the lines—watching, listening, observing. I’m not an extrovert, but I love being around people because human behaviour is its own kind of story. I find fascination in what’s hidden—what people don’t say but reveal in other ways.
Writing isn’t just something I do—it’s the love of my life. I see stories everywhere, in the quiet moments, in fleeting conversations, in the spaces between words. Each one is an echo of something I’ve felt, something I’ve wondered, or something, I fear. Perhaps that’s why my stories always carry a bit of me within them.
Life has taught me that time is both fleeting and infinite, that love never truly fades, and that even in loss, stories remain. Perhaps that’s why I write—to capture the moments, the emotions, and the ghosts that linger long after the world has moved on.
So, if you enjoy stories that make you think twice, that leave you questioning what’s real and what’s not—You’re in the right place.
